    報(bào)告題目:大氣環(huán)境遙感及應(yīng)用系列講座(面向全校研究生和青年學(xué)者)

    內(nèi)容提要:介紹大氣環(huán)境遙感研究領(lǐng)域的最新進(jìn)展,包括溫室氣體的基本特征、地基-衛(wèi)星-飛機(jī)遙感的基本概念、環(huán)境事件的處置與危機(jī)管理等,同時(shí)介紹在該研究領(lǐng)域所面臨的機(jī)會(huì)和挑戰(zhàn)。

    主講人簡(jiǎn)介:

             Annette Ladst?tter-Wei?enmayer博士是德國(guó)不來梅大學(xué)物理與電氣工程學(xué)院副院長(zhǎng)、大氣物理與化學(xué)高級(jí)研究員,2011年就被中國(guó)海洋大學(xué)聘為客座教授。她積極參入中德合作交流,已先后7次來中國(guó)海洋大學(xué)為研究生授課和為中德暑期夏令營(yíng)的學(xué)生做講座。她與中國(guó)海洋大學(xué)的多位教授已經(jīng)建立了良好的合作關(guān)系,雙方合作指導(dǎo)碩士和博士研究生,并聯(lián)合開設(shè)課程《大氣物理學(xué)》。她是德國(guó)不萊梅大學(xué)最早與中國(guó)海洋大學(xué)進(jìn)行學(xué)術(shù)交流的科學(xué)家,自2008年以來,她一直擔(dān)任不萊梅大學(xué)中德合作培養(yǎng)研究生項(xiàng)目的協(xié)調(diào)人,在她的直接幫助下中國(guó)海洋大學(xué)約有30名研究生進(jìn)入不萊梅大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)。20115月、201211月、20133月、20139月、201410月、20169月和20175月她先后7次來中國(guó)海洋大學(xué)為研究生授課,教授科技英語寫作,聽過她的課程的人數(shù)超過250人。

    Topic I: Remote Sensing and its Application (周一,2018917)

    內(nèi)容提要:Remote sensing can be broadly defined as the collection and interpretation of information about an object, area, or event without being in physical contact with the object. Ground based -, aircraft - and satellite based measurements are used to observe e.g. natural and anthropogenic influences on atmospheric conditions. In addition these data is used to analyse trends and to validate model output with respect to predict future variability.

     

    Topic IIGreenhouse Gases (周二,2018918)

    內(nèi)容提要:Atmospheric concentrations of greenhouse gases have risen sharply in recent decades as a result of human activity. The changes in climate that can be expected as a result of the ongoing emissions of greenhouse gases could have large, harmful impacts on human wellbeing.

    The global network of ground-based measurements (like the TCCON (Total Column Carbon Observing Network)) of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane (CH4) concentrations expanded in the last years. Compared to ground-based measurements, the key advantage of satellite-based measurements is their ability to provide global coverage of these compounds.

     

    Topic IIISatellite Data of Pollution Events (周三,2018919)

    內(nèi)容提要:Satellite data of atmospheric pollutants are becoming more widely used in the decision-making and environmental management activities of public, private sector and non-profit organizations. They are employed for estimating emissions, tracking pollutant plumes, supporting air quality forecasting activities, providing evidence for “exceptional event” declarations, monitoring regional long-term trends, and evaluating air quality model output.

    Using satellite based measurements, indicators for air pollution can be observed. These kind of indicators are e.g. nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and the oxidized hydrocarbons like formaldehyde (HCHO), glyoxal (CHOCHO), carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2).
